Google's search engine is the most widely used by the netter. Various information we can quickly search using Google. To optimize search results, Google offers several options:


filetype:
This option is used to search for specific file types.
Example:
filetype: xls -> to search for files MS Excel
filetype: doc -> to search for files MS Word

inurl:
This option is used to search for specific words "incoming" as the url.
With this option, you can search on a particular search folders (if combined with the option "of the index").
Example:
inurl: admin -> This search result url website that has the word "admin"

site:
This option is specifically used to conduct a search on certain sites.
Example:
site: torry.net "xp style" -> search for the keyword "xp style" on the site www.torry.net

intitle:
This option is used to search for certain words that are on the title page of the web.

link:
This option is used to know the site where the loved-link to certain sites.
Example:
link: delphi3000.com -> search for sites that have links to www.delphi3000.com

You can combine various options to get on top of the search results more specific.
Example:
pdf "rapidshare.de / files" site: rapidshare.de
-> To search for books or pdf files on rapidshare.de/ files "site: rapidshare.de
-> To search for books or pdf files on rapidshare.de

inurl: exeYou can change your site: rapidshare.de become site: megaupload.com to search for files on MegaUpload
